I was staying in a hotel in East Bumf*ck, Pennsylvania the other day, the bed
smelled so bad I slept in my sleeping bag on the floor.
Moral of the story?
Don't always choose a hotel because it's the closest one to the office you're
visiting....

work college stayed at the closest
hotel (Holiday Inn) to a place
making a machine for us. He
selected a hotel down the street.
~ 1 mile. I drove there to cover
for him while he was on vacation.
OMFG. The near street near the
hotel had burnt out cars, no
tires. The institution next door,
guessing a school, had 8' fences
w/ barbed wire. The topper was
the hotel lobby smelled like piss.
I called the main office, travel
dept. and asked for a Hyatt,
Marriot, Double Tree. Figured
they would be AOK. Stayed in the
German side of Cincin at a Mariott
drinking Warsteiner!!!
